So yeah, it's been awhile. Why? I don't have great internet access at home, I don't want to write my blogs at my boyfriend's house, and I've been training at work so I'm barely at a computer.
The things I want to write about, I can't right now. I've told most of the people I want to tell...and eventually I'll write it here, but not now. There is a time and place for all things, and this will be revealed in time (isn't that a DeBarge song?).
I have been trying very hard to keep in touch with my friends. I've been in that "honeymoon" stage with my main squeeze, and now that it's going to be 6 months...I figure it's time that we start to hang out with friends. So I've gotten to see a lot of you out there lately. Thanks for being patient as I get manage my way through the whole "honeymoon" phase. I love my boyfriend. He's the best. It's very rare that you find someone who will not get angry at the little things and actually try to balance everything out.
So now things are moving along quite nicely. My honey got me a RING. Yes...it's a "promise" ring, which means a promise that an actual engagement ring is in the works. He made me log on to Robbinsbros.com to find the actual engagement ring, but in the meantime, I have a very cute and adorable promise ring that we picked out yesterday. It's lovely...I'm showing it off at work today, lol.
No one has ever bought me a ring before, except for my father. This is quite meaningful for me, and very emotional. When he put it on my finger last night, I cried. I was so happy.
Ive been very tired lately. My asthma has been acting up...so now I'm on antibiotics to fight off this infection that I got from coughing so much due to my asthma. Cripey it sucks.
FOOTBALL
Yes...it's the most wonderful time of the year, my friends. Football season is underway, and it doesn't matter that it's "only" preseason. Any season is a great time for THE NFL.
My cousin...let's call her Rae-Rae, is in town from Toronto. She's been here since July, and she is leaving in 2 weeks. It's been fun with her. She's 15 going on 21 and adorable. She's totally ghetto fab and hip hop all rolled up in one. But she's definitely smarter and more exprierienced than I ever was at that age. I'm going to miss her when she's gone.
Things have been going well with my mom, my sister and everything. We are all getting along, and my mom has completely accepted my boyfriend. She actually really likes him quite a bit. He's fitting in quite nicely with friends and family.
Ah...I'll end this randomness with my little Squishy. My niece...that beautiful bundle of joy is now 8 months old, and is quite the little handfull. She definitely has attitude and personality, and is more fun right now that I ever could have imagined. She likes to think she can walk, hates shoes, eats tons of mashed mac & cheese, and laughs uncontrolably at any silly thing we do. It's the BEST.
*sigh*
